Catherine Addis has a well-trained eye for the arts.  Her creativity in makeup stems from a long history of fine arts training and education. Studying in Los Angeles, Dublin, and Philadelphia - where Catherine received a Masters of Arts degree - she began working as an art consultant and marketing associate for fine arts institutions across the United States.

In search of something more creative, Catherine combined her skill as an artist with her understanding of style and self-representation to begin a career in makeup artistry. She has since worked extensively in all aspects of media makeup including film, television, fashion, and print for clients across the US, United Kingdom and Japan.

In 2008, Catherine established Vow of Makeup, bringing new life to the Los Angeles wedding makeup and hair industry. With an established freelance career behind her, she decided to focus her trade on the consumer market. To date, Catherine has worked with countless brides, working professionals, entertainers, and stay-at-home moms as a special event artist/beauty consultant.  She takes great pride in providing a VIP experience for clients from all walks of life.

In 2012, Catherine moved to Las Vegas NV where she began working as Sephora's Personal Beauty Advisor. Utilizing her diverse background in commercial and consumer beauty, Catherine will address a client's entire routine including skin, makeup, hair and fragrance.  Through Sephora, she is available for private 90-minute consultations while continuing bridal and editorial work outside of the store.

In addition to makeup artistry, Catherine has worked as a contributing editor for several magazines and online publications including various networks, blogs and On Makeup Magazine.
